We’ll start with the new beautiful additions to the Envique Collection. For those unfamiliar with these amazing floors, here’s a quick introduction to Envique. Until now these luxurious planks, crafted with the ultimate attention to detail, were available in six trend-forward finishes. Since its launch during last year’s Surfaces, the Envique  Collection has been popular among consumers and interior designers. Check out what design bloggers, Shanty2Chic, recently had to say about Envique at shanty-2-chic.com/2015/12/new-flooring.html.

So, with that recap complete we’re happy to introduce the three newest members to the Envique Collection:

Bridal Pine

Inspired by the art of Shou-sugi-ban (Japanese charred cedar) these beautiful planks offer exquisite details, dramatic textured graining and charred marks that create unique visuals.

This floor makes a bold statement with textured graining and skip cuts reminiscent of vintage craftsman floors. Variable colorations and ultra-realistic edges give each plank an authentic hardwood look perfect for any décor.

Memoir Oak

These planks replicate the unique textures and visuals of sandblasted hardwood to create a naturally weathered appearance. The surface relief is defined yet smooth to the touch—a truly innovative technique in laminate design.

Inspired by time.

We’re ecstatic to share this brand new laminate collection, designed to look like wood that’s been aged by time and the elements. To recreate that essence we crafted new textures, and experimented with finishes until we found just the right patina. At a very substantial 12mm thickness, our new Elevae Collection features North American oak and pine with rich graining and muted colors sure to inspire your next renovation.

    Hi,
I recently received samples of several of the Envique floors. The memoir oak seems to be much more bumpy/texturizing than the other Envique floors. I understand it’s supposed to look weathered. It is not as smooth as the other Envique samples I have. Is this the way Memoir Oak is, or is my sample off? Thanks!

Each Envique décor is unique and each color has their own story. The texture is true to the species as we try to make each floor as realistic as possible. Memoir Oak features a texture which replicates the characteristics of an authentic sandblasted wood finish. Let us know if you have any other questions!
